I am all about empowering and being brave, mostly on a budget. I am lucky enough to have traveled the world and sung for some very famous people, but I am happiest when I am with people I love, growing my own garden vegetables, creating new vegan dishes, and exploring charity shops and designing new looks for myself and friends.

At 59, I feel more empowered than ever. This age isn’t a limit — it’s a launchpad. Every line on my face tells a story of strength, growth, and resilience. I’ve learned that bravery isn’t about being fearless; it’s about showing up, again and again, as your truest self.
Now, I want to help others feel that same fire. To know that it’s never too late to chase a dream, change direction, or fall in love with life all over again.
Age is just a number — not a barrier. We’re not fading; we’re rising. Let’s lift each other up and step boldly into the best version of ourselves. Life is calling, and it’s ours to embrace.
Face of VEGAN Happy
I am also delighted to be a Face of VEGAN Happy Clothing in the 50+ age range, beating over 1,000 other entries for this coveted spot.
VEGAN Happy were reaching out for faces that embodied their brand. Who were brave, happy, smiley, but also warrior-like in the way we all want to try and make the world a better place.
Whilst I love my charity shop finds, I also love being part of the VEGAN Happy family because they are an animal rescue support even more than they are a fashion brand, and all their clothing is vegan, sustainable, and ethical.
